Nebraska Health Care Learning Center, a private, post-secondary career school, seeks enthusiastic nurse instructors to teach nursing aide and medication aide classes during day or evening hours at its Lincoln, Neb., location. Candidates should have a sound understanding of the role of the Basic Nursing Assistant and Medication Aide in health care. The positions involve instructing Basic Nursing Assistant and/or Medication Aide students on scope of practice, skills competency, clinical experience, and codes of conduct within their positions in health care facilities. Adjunct instructors, who must be an RN or LPN, will work closely with NHCLC’s administrator. 1-2 years of experience in long-term care is required. This is a PRN, independent contractor position. Flexible schedule; no minimum or maximum hour requirement! Pay is $27/hr. NHCLC is an affiliate of Nebraska Health Care Association.
